"Dead Fox" by Dead Fox (Acoustic Artist from Tennessee(TN))

The charming, self titled CD, "Dead Fox," is the first, full length acoustic album by singer/songwriter Cynthia Brando. Confidently alternating a mixture of styles, such as country, blues, and folk, Brando projects her voice with a relaxing and ambient quality. Her well written lyrics speak of strong emotions with lyrical charisma. Simple and free flowing, "This Love," is lovely with its folksy guitar accompaniment. A touch of country flavor comes to mind when hearing the delightful tune, "Driven By Angels." The Bluesy blend of the strong and powerful vocals shines on the song, "What a Beautiful Dream" as this catchy melody will have your toes tapping to the passionate beat. A distinctive treasure of songs, "Dead Fox," is filled with generous helpings of acoustic Folk material and is well worth listening to.

"Sythetic Heart" by X-Sonic (Electronic Artist from Tennessee(TN))

"Synthetic Heart" by X-Sonic is refreshing wave of 80's synthpop meets modern day electronica. The production of each track is progressive and provides solid and extremely danceable beats. The melodies coupled with the lyrics keep the listener in a kaleidoscope of romance, escape, and a night out all at once. This CD is definitely one that has the potential of being pumped in downtown nightclubs to get everyone out on the dancefloor. "Crazy Over You", the opening track really sets the tone of creativity and originality with a familiarity and a classic feel that can be heard throughout this record. Toward the end, "Fade to Blue" cools it down with a smooth ballad sound while still keeping the synthetic effects strong. Older fans of Dead or Alive as well as younger fans of Justice can thoroughly enjoy this up and coming band out of Tennessee.

"The Time Is Now" by Farrad (Pop/R&B Artist from New York City, New York(NY))

Farrad releases his fantastic CD, "The Time Is Now" featuring invigorating, vibrant, and energetic Top 40/Pop compilations. You can't help but get up off your feet and move to the powerhouse beats and grooves this album has to offer. Kicking off the album, "Misunderstood" burns with distorted vocals and funky rhythmic beats. Turn up the bass on the sub woofer as "Pick Your Face Up Off the Floor" is maximum pulses of thumping bass and drums. The easy flowing vocals on "Keep Your Head Up" complement the lyrics as the supporting instruments capture the smooth, slick vibe. Soulful, with a smooth R&B influence, "Destiny" reveals Farrad's ability to show some diversity within his style of music. If you're a fan of Lady GaGa and love great party music then take a listen to "The Time Is Now" as it's packed with high energy and progressively modern, Top 40 spins.
